Junior AML Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague to join our friendly team and fill the position of Junior AML Specialist

Job Mission:

As a Junior AML specialist you will become a part of VIAINVEST SIA protection against illicit activities and have an opportunity to grow as a specialist in regulatory and compliance matters with prior essence on anti-money laundering. You will be responsible for client transaction monitoring alerts and other know your client policy requirements. You will work closely with other AML department employees to assist with managing risks on everyday routines.

What you will do:

• Research VIAINVEST clients (private individuals) or potential clients before establishing cooperation
• Define restrictions and transaction limits based on clients’ investigation
• Make conclusions on investigation results
• Monitor customers and their transactions during business relationships

About you:

• Willingness to work with Client’s information to research their source of funds, adverse media search, and business activity evaluation in accordance with predefined process requirements
• Proficiency in English and Latvian is a must
• Analytical thinking, ability to pay attention to details, and to identify non compliances with predefined process requirements
• Initiative and ability to engage in productive discussions
• Last year students are welcomed, but keep in mind this is a full time job
