Considering the fast-growing business, we are looking for a bright mind and energetic personality to join our friendly team and become the Head of BI at VIA SMS Group.

What you will do:

• Develop and execute the overall BI strategy: Define and implement the strategic direction for VIA SMS Group business intelligence initiatives, aligning them with the company’s goals and objectives.
• BI Solution Management: Manage the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of BI solutions – QlikView and Qlik Sense.
• Drive data governance and data quality: Establish and maintain data governance processes and standards to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used in BI activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, marketing, and products, to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and deliver BI solutions that meet their business requirements.
• Manage and develop the BI team: Manage and lead the BI team, including hiring and training team members, assigning tasks, and overseeing project delivery.
• Requirements Management: Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for BI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs.
• BI Development: Create data models, ETL processes, and develop applications to support data integration, transformation, and visualization requirements.

Your Skills & Personal Qualities:

• Higher education (Finance, Business administration, Economics, IT or similar).
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Proven experience with database systems, BI development, data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL querying.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify issues, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Ability to think strategically and envision the long-term impact of BI initiatives on the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and cope with high-pressure situations, tight deadlines, and demanding workloads inherent in a fast-paced BI environment.
