Head of Financial Analysis and Reporting

We are looking for a passionate, result-driven Head of Financial Analysis and Reporting to join our professional Finance Team within the company.

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Financial Leader, where you’ll elevate team performance through strategic management and training initiatives while analyzing and recommending enhancements to Group performance. Your responsibilities extend to creating robust forecasting models, collaborating with executive management, and facilitating financial decision-making processes. What you will do:

• Initiate and implement improvements in accounting and financial reporting processes
• Improve the performance of the team. Manage and train the team
• Analyse and provide recommendations to improve Group performance (financial, operational)
• Cooperate with partners (banks, audit organizations, etc.), and defend the Group’s opinion
• Be responsible for presenting financial performance analysis results to the Board
• Create forecasting and budgeting templates with different scenarios
• Present findings and analysis to executive-level management. Work closely with management in decision-making processes
• Point of contact for external audit engagements related to the preparation of IFRS financial statements
• Support managers, the board, and country managers in the financial decision-making processes
• Find a way to solve any issue related to financial matters

Your experience:

• Proven experience in financial leadership roles for at least 3 or more years
• Higher education in finance, accounting, and/or banking, or a related field. MBA or other relevant graduate degree would be considered as an advantage
• Experience in project and budget management
• Knowledge in accountancy and IFRS
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, BI tools Qlik, and MS Power BI will be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills (Latvian and English languages), both written and verbal
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills
• Strategic thinking
• Problem-solving aptitude
