PR and Content Manager

VIA SMS Group is an alternative financial services provider operating across the Europe and Asia-Pacific. Since the company launch, it has expanded its operations to 9 countries and has grown into a versatile fintech enterprise offering simple and accessible financial solutions under various brand names. Considering the fast-growing business, we are looking for a bright mind to join our friendly team and fill the position of PR AND CONTENT MANAGER within the PR and Communication Department.

What you will do:

• Ensure continuous PR strategy upgrades following the industry developments
• Carry out separate PR strategies for the Group and related brands, monitor brand attributes usage across the company
• Manage crisis communication across countries of operations
• Ensure Group’s and related brands presence in public environment, including, but not limited to social media, discussion forums, press, conferences, etc., as well as support the Board by ensuring its public presence
• Work with opinion leaders and industry bloggers to raise brand awareness
• Prepare various kinds of content for company’s needs in different countries – press releases, presentations, official statements, interviews, social media content, product descriptions, etc.
• Participate in event management both within the company and ensuring the presence of the company in external events
• Manage company’s Wellbeing program, cooperate with HR in development of social environment within the company
• Search for new, creative PR channels to promote company’s product and attract new customers

What we expect:

• Higher education in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism and/or Business-related studies
• Work experience in similar or same position
• Outstanding Latvian and English language skills both in writing and speaking, ability to copywrite and rewrite
• Understanding of fintech, interest about alternative finance industry
• Knowledge of Russian (day-to-day communication)
• Understanding of fintech, interest about alternative finance industry
• Experience in the management or PR-related projects, content creation
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
• Ability to dive deeper and come up with innovative solutions
• Strategic thinking, ability to predict various potential outcomes
• Positive attitute and great sense of humour is a must
